Blue Springs Examiner Newspaper images, 1986 - 1988. The results of the "Love Those Schools" voting were revealed Friday afternoon at Blue Springs Bank. Jeff Scasselati poured the last of 13 bags of pennies that represented 6570 votes for all the schools in the running, Hansel Lowe came out on top again this year with more than 130 votes. $651.60. M.
