South front of Nelson's home. Photograph from Mrs. Ringle's Andrew Drumm Institute Scrapbook.

"South front." Nelson's home. "The chimney evidences the cheery fireplace in the big living-room." Photographs from Mrs. Ringle's Scrapbook. Mrs. Lillian Ringle, an accredited teacher, taught the boys through the 7th grade with school held on Drumm property from 1929 through 1934. During her tenure at Drumm, Mrs. Riggle compiled a scrapbook that describes the life and times during her short stay. Mrs. Ellen Nelson Bidstrup, daughter of Harry Nelson, the first superintendent at Drumm, was kind enough to pass the scrapbook on to me. Bill Richards, October 2001
