Woodson, Ambrose M.

Photograph and tintype portraits of Ambrose M. Woodson. He was born on March 5, 1847 in Kentucky, and came to Raytown, Missouri in 1868 at age 21, and lived to at least age 93. He married Lizzie Rhoades, and was a coal and feed dealer, and a Mason for 70 years as of 1940. He lived at 135 E. Pacific St, Independence, Missouri for over 50 years (at least from 1890 to 1940). The paper photograph was taken before his coming to Missouri, in Lebanon, Kentucky. Copy of newspaper article in vertical file.
