Kansas City, 9th and Central Streets

Kansas City, Missouri - Circa 1886 - Northeast Corner of 9th and Central Streets The small house in the Center of the photograph is ib the Northeast Corner of 9th and Central Streets. The first floor of this small restaurant serving meals for 15 cents. Central Street is in the process of being graded and 9th and Wyandotte Streetsis on the Right of this photograph. The New England Life building is in the Northeast Corner nad the Beal building os on the Northwest Corner. The building under construction is the Board of Trade building being erected at 210 West 8th Street Original image published in the book, "Historic Street Scenes of Kansas City, Missouri, 1867-1931," by Raymond S.
